"COOPERATION OF ENTERPRISES WITH VOCATIONAL TRAINING SCHOOLS -
ON THE EXAMPLE OF COMPETENCY LABS IN ITALIAN SCHOOLS"
ERASMUS+ KA210-VET - Small scale partnerships in vocational education and training
The project will run for 12 months: from 09.05.2022 to 08.05.2023
The amount of funding awarded is EUR 30 000
Project goal
The overall objective of the project is to gain knowledge about the tools to develop cooperation between education and employers through familiarization with the method of competence laboratory in the Italian educational institution - an example of a proven method of dual education. The final report will provide information on the method and recommendations for its use in Małopolska. Study visit of Poles in Italy will allow to build a group of ambassadors of this solution.
We have identified 3 main objectives of the project:
- Improving the competences of vocational education school directors in the scope of adapting the education programme to the real needs of the market and Polish entrepreneurs on the example of Italian VET competence laboratory.
- Raising competences of HR directors of industrial companies in the scope of cooperation and dialogue with education and giving its development direction.
- Raising the competence of CEOs of industrial companies in the scope of cooperation and dialogue with education and giving it a development direction.
By implementing project activities we want to give direction, help to understand dependencies, give knowledge and skills to project participants in the field of cooperation between educational institutions and business. All this in order for them to be able to independently establish cooperation between company and school, which will increase the chances of young people for employment and will contribute to the growth of employee capital in Małopolska industrial enterprises. Experience and knowledge gained during the project will allow participants to ensure quality and better adaptation of vocational education and training to the actual needs of the labour market - which is directly related to the main priority of the project.
During the project, participants will fill in the questionnaire twice to verify the level of knowledge - before and after participating in the study visits in Italy. The aim is to increase the knowledge index by min. 80%.
Our mission is to develop the VET sector, improve the quality of education, diversify the educational offer, increase the competence of the sector's representatives and open the door to cooperation with Malopolska's industrial companies - which will allow the directors of these companies to increase their employee capital.
