MBA Strategic HR Management is a course prepared by practitioners and dedicated to professionals interested in knowledge and current management trends in the human resources sector. The study provides a compensated knowledge, as in addition to the classroom sessions, students receive access to an e-learning platform, where they complete additional lessons at a time and pace convenient to them. STUDY OBJECTIVE

The purpose of this MBA in Strategic HR Management is to improve the managerial and leadership competencies of HR managers or directors and top-level managers. Students will learn all aspects of management and human capital management in organizations in a practical way. The study program includes 2 semesters, during which management and HR issues are realized. The overarching goal is to prepare highly qualified managers equipped with practical and effective management tools to co-create HR strategy in the organization, HR Manager MBA. The aim of the study is to focus on practical issues, based on real human capital management challenges and case studies resulting from the substantive and business experience of the experts teaching the course.

General description of learning outcomes

The graduate of the postgraduate program has a structured, in-depth knowledge of management in general and specific knowledge in the field of human capital management, in particular related to the management of a knowledge-based organization operating in an unpredictable VUCA environment, the role of managers at different levels, leadership, leadership (including leadership styles) change management, problem-solving, decision-making, improving the competence of organizations and individuals, taking into account individual development methods, and tax principles of financial management, aspects of recruitment and recruitment policy, labor law issues, modern tools for measurable and effective construction, formation and implementation of personnel policy in enterprises. After graduation, the graduate is prepared and has the practical skills to perform managerial functions in the field of human capital management, both in global organizations and SME enterprises. Studying will allow to adopt and manifest social competencies adequate for modern HRM and teach to form attitudes of commitment, cooperation and responsibility.

Graduates have knowledge:

Graduates will have a working knowledge of management, leadership, change management, conflict resolution, as well as planning and management of HR policy in the organization, taking into account market and legal conditions and in relation to performance indicators and measurability. The participant will learn not only theoretical knowledge, but also experience the most important group processes.

The graduate will have the skills:

  • in the application of the procedure of company management in the VUCA environment and in accordance with ESG,
  • in the implementation of basic and advanced managerial and leadership functions in the area of personnel management,
  • in the area of managing change reactively and proactively
  • building budgets for labor costs
  • analyzing labor costs
  • building a personnel management strategy for an institution in a VUCA environment
  • planning human capital in the organization including competence budgeting
  • identifying adequate to the needs of the institution tools for remote labor management
  • identifying difficult mental states of employees and making basic grass roots interventions,
  • implementing tools to stimulate well-being
  • implementing tools for developing staff adequate to the needs of the organization

Program

The educational program for postgraduate studies includes a total of 30 ECTS credits possible to obtain in the during 2 semesters implemented in the form of part-time studies. Plan of studies includes the total workload of the student necessary to achieve all accepted learning outcomes, includes participation in classes requiring direct participation of students and instructors, as well as independent own work.

The essential part of the developed educational program is the study plan. The posted plan is a semester-by-semester summary of the adopted solutions, adapted to the requirements of the ECTS points system. The Wrocław Business Academy uses the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), which is an accepted and applied system focused on the student (listener) and based on the assessment of the student's (listener's) workload to achieve the learning outcomes for a given program of study.

in designing the educational program it has been assumed that ECTS credits can be earned only after completion of the required work and appropriate assessment of the achieved learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are sets of competencies that define what a student will know, understand or able to do at the end of the educational process regardless of how long the process takes. The workload represented in ECTS includes the time, that is required to complete all the planned in the educational process activities (didactic forms) and forms of independent work by the student, such as for example, attending lectures, participating in practical classes, independent study, preparation of projects, examinations, etc. Points are assigned to all educational components of the study program (such such as groups of subjects, subjects including all forms of didactic, thesis), and they reflect the amount of work required to required to achieve specific learning outcomes within each component, in relation to the total amount of work required to pass postgraduate studies. the program of postgraduate studies shall be determined, in accordance with the provisions of Article 160 of the Law of 20 july 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science, that the number of ECTS credits for postgraduate studies postgraduate studies shall be no less than 30.

Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration and postgraduate studies in Management and Audit at the Jagiellonian University. He is also a Legal Advisor at the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Cracow. He has worked as a specialist in legal affairs and financial analysis and as a self-proxy in a company dealing with financial instruments. He also has many years of experience in the preparation and implementation of the consultation process or remote training.
