on November 29, 2024, the Parliament introduced into the Accounting Law, a package of amendments that require companies to report on the company's environmental and social impact. Social responsibility, organizational transparency and sustainability have become key elements of business success, while taking on a very real framework of legal and reporting requirements.

Starting as early as 2024, large companies are obliged to supplement their financial statements with non-financial reporting in the areas of human capital sustainability, corporate social responsibility and good governance.

Accountants and CFOs, face the challenge of familiarizing themselves with and properly reporting as required by the European Reporting Standards on strategies, indicators and action plans related to:

-environmental impact

• society,
• remuneration,
• and many other aspects of the company's operations.

The topic of non-financial reporting is complex and touches on numerous non-financial aspects that are closely related to financial accounting.

Our proposal is aimed at meeting the unique needs of CFOs and accountants for effective management and reporting of sustainability standards, as required by ESRS.

During the training on sustainability reporting, in accordance with the CSRD directive, ESRS standards requirements, EFRAG Instructions and the Accounting Law:

- you will audit your own processes in the context of ESG reporting requirements,

- you will exchange experiences on good practices in the area of particular standards with accountants and financiers from other companies,

- you will develop an action plan to prepare your own organization for ESG strategy reporting for yourself or your clients

The proposed working formula of a moderated workshop will enable you to fully prepare for the implementation of ESG standards reporting requirements in the Environment, Social and Governance standards.

As of 2024, the non-financial reporting process began in Europe, which includes large and medium-sized companies and companies that collaborate in the supply chain. Sharing the information required by ESG standards with large companies and companies in the supply chain becomes crucial in this context. The new regulations also make ESG reporting mandatory for the areas of human resources, management and organizational culture. Reporting works strongly with financial reporting, so the implementation of reporting is introduced by changes to the Accounting Act.

Lack of a sustainability strategy can exclude a company from the supply chain and significantly limit access to bank financing.
