Business games

The "Sim Team" simulation game enables participants to understand the operational challenges of a company implementing projects. It helps to understand the complexity and interrelationships between HR departments, design and finance departments as well as sales and the consequences of managerial decisions.

The training game is built in the form of a strategy game in which teams compete with each other in a virtual business environment. The goal of each team is to implement projects and make decisions in specific areas (management, HR, finance, sales) based on a scenario tailored to the training goals.

The game can be used to teach managers in the following areas, e.g.

  • Communication in the organization
  • Strategic management, strategy building
  • Project management
  • Human resource Management
  • Team building
  • Intellectual capital management
  • Financial planning and budgeting
  • Company liquidity management
  • Enterprise value managemen

What does the training game look like?

The game is based on the assumption that each organization operates on a common project and employee market. Organizations compete with each other with the intention of recruiting the right employees for relevant projects, thus defining their operating strategies and setting goals that they will achieve.

Business simulation is carried out in specific cycles called quarters, in which cyclical activities related to recruitment of employees and projects are carried out. The trainer moderating the entire training during the planned duration of the workshop arranges breaks to discuss specific substantive issues. This gives the opportunity to "discuss" individual elements and to analyze in detail the decisions made by individual team members.

A maximum of 6 teams consisting of max. 5 people in a team can participate in the game, where each person has a specific role:

Team Leader

Responsible for comprehensive management of the project team and process management in the organization, replacement of strategic goals with operational goals

HR Manager

Responsible for employee management, e.g. recruitment, dismissal, training, salaries, bonuses, etc.

Finance Manager

Responsible for financial management, among others: financial flows, profitability of activities, monitoring of financial indicators, etc.

Sales Manager

Responsible for managing the project purchase process, including: project acquisition, project transfer, project market monitoring, etc.

Strategic Manager

He is mainly responsible for building the company's strategy, setting strategic goals and providing information to employees
