Professional Manager

The only such course of study in Poland, which prepares you to pass the international certification exam of the American Certification Institute®, confirming the qualifications of a Professional Manager worldwide.

Together with the Catholic University of Lublin, we invite you to a new postgraduate course: Professional Manager. The study program is based on practical certified training for managers.

Aim of the studies


The purpose of the study is to increase the competence of study participants in the performance of managerial functions and in the area of training adults using modern tools. As a result of the study, the qualifications of people performing managerial and management roles, as well as those preparing to take on managerial/management functions will be improved.

The issues included in the program are designed to improve the competencies of managers, leaders managing teams, responsible for the effective performance of current tasks and operations. The program is particularly based on the formation of skills - it is practical and useful in nature, equipping with useful tools.

Barbara Matyaszek-Szarek - Lecturer

Małgorzata Janczarek - Lecturer

Małgorzata specializes in the implementation of consulting and training activities in the field of project management, interpersonal communication. She currently works as a consultant and trainer on development, standardization and optimization projects in organizations. She helps raise funds from European Funds. She also serves as a methodologist for market qualification development teams and actively promotes attitudes toward lifelong learning and self-development. She holds the Certified International Professional Training Manager® (CIPTM®) trainer and Certified International Professional Manager® (CIPM)® manager certificates.

Malgorzata Józwik - Lecturer

Małgorzata specializes in the implementation of consulting and training activities in the field of organizational management, design of development programs in interpersonal skills. She helps raise funds from European Funds and actively promotes attitudes towards lifelong learning and self-development. He holds the certificates of Certified International Professional Training Manager® (CIPTM®) trainer and Certified International Professional Manager® (CIPM)® manager.

Jacek Sypniewski - Lecturer

Jacek specializes in the implementation of consulting and training activities in the field of managing people in teams. Currently, in addition to his work as a trainer, he conducts research as part of his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication at the Jagiellonian University and co-founded the Doctoral Social Consulting Laboratory that conducts activities to support organizations that cannot afford paid consulting projects. Qualifications


Graduates are eligible to take the exam and obtain the American Certification Institute® international certification. Acquired knowledge, skills and competencies are expected to facilitate graduates in solving management problems and may also facilitate management processes

In terms of knowledge, the participant:

  • Characterizes the principles of preparing for change in an organization and the response of employees at different stages of change.
  • Distinguishes between the functions and roles of the employee in the team and the organization.
  • Describes the organization of a development project.
  • Characterizes the development cycle of the organization.
  • Constructs development goals for subordinates taking into account their competencies and predispositions.
  • Identifies the goals of the organization taking into account its strategy and market position.
  • Describes how to measure human capital.

In terms of skills, the participant:

  • Plans the development of an employee's competencies based on competency development models
  • Designs the scope and method of carrying out the change process in the team and the organization.
  • Measures the level of human capital in the organization
  • Selects and applies human capital development tools
  • Identifies development needs in the organization
  • Plans and conducts meetings with the team in a situation of change or conflict.
  • Plans and conducts individual motivational, explanatory, disciplinary, and dismissal communication conversations with team members in situations of conflict or change.
  • Communicates in a development project situation.
  • Demonstrates methods and ways to independently prepare and carry out the communication process with the team and/or team members individually in a situation of change.
  • Organizes a development project, plans roles and tasks in a development project.
  • Plans his own and subordinate employees' learning, takes into account personal preferences and the needs of the organization in the context of personal growth and employee development.

In terms of social competence (attitudes) the participant:

  • Evaluates the subject of change and assesses the planned way to carry out the change process in the team and organization.
  • Assesses the scope of the development project and evaluates the planned way of carrying it out.
  • Presents an attitude of readiness to participate in organizational change and support employees in the change process.
  • Presents an attitude of readiness to independently prepare and carry out the process of communication with the team and/or team members individually in a change situation.
  • Presents an attitude of readiness to use development projects for organizational development.
  • Presents an attitude of readiness to conduct standards-based training.

After passing the final exam, the student is ready to take the Certified International Professional Management Executive® exam, where he or she can obtain the American Certification Institute® international certification and confirm his or her qualifications at the international level.
