What is the HR industry?

Business training is conducted in terms of many different categories. An analysis of survey data from our last project showed that the area of HR is of greatest interest. So let's take a closer look at it.

The HR, or Human Resources, industry was hardly heard of a few years ago, today almost everyone has encountered at least a mention of it. Before that, no one knew how important the role of an HR professional or recruiter is for the functioning of a company. In Poland, the first employment agencies began to appear in the first half of the 1990s. Suddenly, the HR industry began to develop extremely rapidly. Popular especially in large companies and corporations.


The HR department deals with human resource management, and more specifically with recruiting, training, motivating and firing employees. It can be located in virtually any company. HR professionals can also operate on their own, performing assignments for various companies. They help employees with the right qualifications get into the right jobs. They build a strong team of specialists in companies. For the employer, hiring an HR professional is not only to ensure time savings, but most importantly to select the ideal employee among the submitted candidates.


As the economic theory of Human Capital assumes - a person is the most valuable element of a company's resources. And it is these resources that HR deals with.
