Content storage platforms

04/29/2020

In today's article we will take a look at some useful platforms for storing our resources. In earlier posts we gave examples of various programs, for making our online courses more interesting in form. We described tools for creating graphics, adding video, audio, photos, clipart, etc. All of this takes up disk space...and not a little of it. Platforms for storing our files, a kind of online storage, are an excellent solution when we want to keep our "base" in order, and after all, it is obvious that a good trainer uses many sources of his extensive knowledge

Music

  • Freemusicarchive - this is probably the most popular platform that collects a free music library. Importantly, it is completely free, so it is ideal for trainers taking their first steps in the field of remote learning through online courses.
  • Audio Hero - is a huge online library of over 250,000 sound effects and music tracks available for instant search and download.
  • Envato - is by far the most extensive file "storehouse" with a user base of over 8 million. A very interesting option is that Envato has its own service market! Envato Market is a collection of thematic platforms where creatives sell digital resources to help with imaginative online courses.

Video

  • Video Pexels - is a completely free platform that provides video content for you to use in your presentations.
  • Videvo - is edited daily with new photos, videos, audio recordings, in HD and 4K qualities. Very neatly sorted to make it easy for us to search for the content we are interested in.
  • Split - there are 1113 free photos and much more, conveniently sorted into categories, so it is a relatively "young" platform in our list.

An additional and very helpful fact is that many of these platforms offer quite free a database of their own resources, which is of great importance, especially for novice trainers who are "on a budget".
